Didsbury’s two kinds of job

West Didsbury’s big Victorian and Edwardian houses were carved into flats decades ago, and each carve-up left boards of a different vintage stacked in one hallway cupboard. Replacing one properly means understanding whose supply is whose; your photos of the cupboard tell us most of it, and we sort access with the freeholder or managing agent.

East Didsbury and the roads off Wilmslow Road are more conventional semis, typically with a 1970s or 80s board that predates RCBO protection. A lot of these jobs are triggered by a house sale or a landlord EICR, both of which want the same thing: a certified modern board, quickly.
