What does an unsatisfactory EICR actually mean?
It means the inspector found at least one fault serious enough that the installation cannot be signed off as safe. The report lists each fault with a code, and the codes tell you everything about urgency.
The C2s we see on almost every Manchester report
Most unsatisfactory reports around here flag the same cluster of board-related faults: no RCD protection, a plastic or damaged consumer unit, missing main protective bonding to the gas and water, and undersized meter tails. One new board with an RCBO on every circuit clears the lot in a single visit.
That is why our remedial quotes are usually just a fixed-price board package plus the specific bonding or tails items your report names. You can check our numbers against the report line by line.
