Your 14 day cooling-off period

When you book with us by phone, message or through this website, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day of booking to cancel without giving a reason and without charge.

How to cancel

Call 07703 295654, WhatsApp us or use the quote form saying you want to cancel. You can use the form below but you do not have to. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.

If you ask us to start within the 14 days

Failed EICR deadlines often mean the work needs doing inside your cooling-off period. If you ask us in writing to start early and then cancel after the work has begun, you pay for what has been done up to cancellation. Once the work is complete, the right to cancel no longer applies. We will ask for this confirmation explicitly when booking an early date; it is never buried in small print.

Insurance and putting things right

We hold public liability insurance covering every job, maintained for the duration of the work and the guarantee period. If you want to see it before you book, or your landlord, freeholder or insurer asks for it, call 07703 295654 and we will send the schedule, with the insurer, policy number, limit of indemnity and renewal date, the same day. Cancelling outside the cooling-off period

You can still cancel any time before we start, free of charge, with reasonable notice. We only ask that you tell us as soon as you can so the slot can go to someone else.
