Who we are

Fuse Board Fitters ("we") is an electrical contractor working across Greater Manchester. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact: 07703 295654 or 07703 295654.

What we collect and why

When you request a quote we collect your name, mobile number, postcode and the photos you send of your fuse board, meter tails and earthing. We use these to price your job, contact you about it and, if you book, to carry out and certify the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing that contract.

If you call or WhatsApp us, we keep the message thread and call notes for the same purpose. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage data as described in the cookie policy; the legal basis for that is your consent.

What we do not do

We do not sell your details, add you to marketing lists, or pass your information to anyone except the service providers who process it for us (for example our quoting and certification software), all of whom act under contract on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 12 months. Records of completed work, including certificates, are kept for 6 years to honour the guarantee and meet our legal and insurance obligations.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Call 07703 295654 and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
