The promise

If anything we fitted or connected fails because of our workmanship within five years of the installation date, we return and put it right at no cost to you. No excess, no call-out fee, no arguing.

What is covered

The consumer unit and every device in it, our connections and terminations, bonding and earthing work we carried out, and any circuit alterations we made. The certificate you received lists everything that falls under the guarantee.

What is not covered

Faults in parts of the installation we did not work on, damage caused by someone else altering the board after us, and faults in appliances plugged into the installation. Manufacturer defects in the board itself are covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty. We confirm the make, model and warranty term in writing with your quote, and we handle any claim for you either way.

It moves with the house

The guarantee attaches to the installation, not to you, so it transfers automatically to a new owner if you sell. Solicitors ask about this; the answer is yes, and it is in writing here.

Your statutory rights

This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, not a replacement for them.
